The long standing thirst of bringing out an exclusive and unique scientific journal from PSGCAS has now taken shape and the first issue of PSGCAS Search: A Journal of Science and Technology was released in January 2013 with a look and style that is contemporary with contents that are highly relevant to today's modern science and technology. The top-notch support had from the editorial team and the advisory board is well appreciated. The first-hand aim of the journal is to instill the know- how of scientific writing in to the minds of young researchers and facilitate publishing articles of high scientific excellence. New techniques, newer technologies and ever increasing peer demand to publish, fuelled by drastically evolving scientific society and concepts were the sole inspiration to commence this journal from PSGCAS which has established a trademark in higher education and research in India and abroad all through the gloriousyears ever since 1947. On behalf of the management and myself, I congratulate all the contributors who have submitted their research findings to the issues and also assure that the journal would continue to publish top quality articles in the service of the scientific community.
