IQAC @ PSGCAS

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), proposes that every accredited institution should establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure. IQAC at PSGCAS was established in 5.12.2003.

Since the College’s Accreditation at the FIVE STAR level by NAAC in the Academic Year 1999-2000, the IQAC has become a part of the Institution’s system and works toward realisation of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. As per the NAAC’s guidelines, the prime task of the IQAC at PSGCAS is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of Institution. During the post-accreditation period, the IQAC at PSGCAS has channelized all efforts and measures of the Institution towards achieving holistic academic excellence. During the 2nd Cycle of NAAC Reaccreditation, the College obtained A+ grade and subsequently during the 3rd Cycle, the College was Reaccredited at the A grade with a CGPA of 3.62 on four point scale.
