Common Guidelines for Special Quota admission
The candidate belonging to the TNHSE Board has to register their application with marks and all the required fields within 3rd day (5.00 p.m.) from the date of publication of 12th results of TNHSE board. Other board students should post their application and upload relevant documents for the respective special category before three days of the publication of TNHSE board results.
The candidates willing to claim admission under special category / quota, has to give “Yes” in the respective column in the application.
They have to upload and relevant documents as proof for the achievements and status that they claim in the application, at respective places.
Uploaded documents will be verified and candidates will be ranked based on the ranking scheme in the respective category.
The ranked candidates will be invited for admission counselling on the 4th day from the date of publication of TNHSE 12th results, in 1:3 ratio.
The Un-registered applications of TNHSE board and other board candidates failing to apply with “Yes” for Special Category in the respective column will not be considered for ranking and admission counselling.
Sports
Selection trials will be conducted for candidates who apply under sports category, which will be informed by Physical Education department. Candidates are requested to upload their recent achievements and game details (Certificates) in application.
NCC & Ex-Servicemen
The certificates uploaded by the candidates will be verified by the respective admission committee and candidates will be invited for admission counselling, based on ranking. Candidates are requested to upload their achievement certificates in NCC, and the entire service record claimed for Ex-servicemen category issued by Government authority, in their application.
Differently Abled (Persons with Disability)
The candidates’ certificates will be verified both online and in-person while invited for admission counselling. The candidates will be examined by Physician on the status claimed by the candidate for selection. Candidates are requested to upload the entire Medical record issued by the Government authority in the application.
