Manavar Manram (Aided)
Manavar Manram is the democratically elected Students’ Council that consists of student representatives to address the interests and issues of the Aided Students of the Institution. It imbibes leadership qualities among the student members and provides opportunities to work with coordination towards achieving common goals. It serves as an effective platform for constructive student activities. It functions as a bridge, enabling the student community to mingle with each other through organizing Intra-college extravaganza WIZARDS and Inter-collegiate Cultural Fest CASCALL every year.
Manavar Manram ( Self Financed)
Manavar Manram (Self Financed) is the Students Council consisting of the democratically elected students’ representatives of the unaided stream. The Council organizes Seminars, Workshops and Events for Intellectual Enrichment, Personality Development and Leadership Skills Enhancement of the students. HEARTBEAT is the Intra-college Cultural Competition and EUPHORIA is the Inter-collegiate Cultural Fest organized by the Council to provide opportunities to the students for showcasing their innate skills and talents.
Alumni Association
The PSG College of Arts & Science had officially set up the Alumni Association in the year 2007. The Alumni Committee meets every quarter for brainstorming on ideas and initiatives for their alma matter. The propaganda of the association is to establish infinite networking of former graduates of the college, who in turn function as mentors and jointly sponsor scholarships for the students. In the academic year 2016-17, the association has provided scholarship for about Rs.1,73,000/- to eight deserving students. In 2017-18 the scholarship amount provided was Rs.1,34,530/- for ten deserving students. In 2018-19 scholarship was given for eleven deserving students for about Rs.2,28,260/-. It organizes two to three fund raising programmes every year with the support of Office Bearers and Committee Members to help the students avail scholarship. The college has about 11,250 registered alumni members till date. Every year, the alumni association celebrates Teacher’s day in honor of the former and present teachers of the college.
