Home Away from Home for approximately 3500 Students, PSG CAS provides excellent hostel facilities for outstation students with a homely atmosphere and spacious buildings with a mess hall having a centralized kitchen and 5 dining halls.
There are separate hostels for both boys & girls. The hostel rooms measure different sizes capacitating 2 to 6 beds, as per the needs of the students and are also provided with attached bathrooms and common bathrooms. The hostel facilities can be availed at different prices depending on the budget of the students.
The hostels are surrounded with lush green lands, with tall green trees and garden benches, creating an airy and ambient atmosphere for students to move around.
Every year, Hostel Day is celebrated as PONVASANTHAM with various gala events, grand cultural programs and delicious food.
There are 5 Girls Hostel and 4 Boys Hostel of various types from which the students can choose from according to their budget.

The Principal is the Chief Warden of the Hostel with separate Deputy Wardens appointed for boys & girls hostels. Under the Deputy Wardens, individual Residential Superintendents are appointed to manage the hostellers on each floor.
The hostel students form a Hostel Council where student council members are selected approximately in the ratio 50:1 to serve as representatives for the hostel students. The council members coordinate with the Deputy Wardens and cater to the needs and grievances of the hostel students. Council meetings are held periodically where hostel issues are discussed and sorted out.

1.Food is served from the Centralized kitchen of the hostel.
2.Menu is fixed after consultation with the students and executed by the Mess Manager. It includes both Vegetarian & Non- Vegetarian.
3.The mess operates on a dividing system, so that students are benefitted by nominal mess bill charges.
PSGCASians who are willing to join the hostel must register their names at the Hostel office / Online with their residential details.
In order to accommodate students from far off places, priority is given to students on first come first serve basis. The list of selected students is posted on the Notice board/Online and also intimated to the students through the SMS/email system.
The students can pay the hostel fees directly at the bank counter available within the campus (Challan available at hostel Office) / DD in favor of “PSG CAS HOSTELS”, Payable at Coimbatore / through online payment.
At the end of every academic year, all hostel students must vacate the hostel by submitting the vacating form to the hostel office. Moreover they must register their name for availing the hostel facility for the next academic year.
The hostel fees includes Caution deposit (only for the first year), Establishment and Mess Deposit for the entire year.
Permanently vacating students must submit the vacating form along with Refund form at hostel office for processing refund payment.
