Vision

To establish PSGCAS as a leader in entrepreneurship education and practice, encouraging students to become innovators and entrepreneurs who contribute to economic and social development.

Mission

To provide a supportive environment for students who are interested in entrepreneurship, including those who participate in hackathons, ideation competitions, and student-led startups.
To assist in the creation of student ventures, facilitate participation in grant calls and hackathons, and promote an entrepreneurial mindset across all departments.
To contribute to social and community entrepreneurship programs, supporting external startups with mentorship, funding guidance, and subsidy-based loans.

About E-Cell of PSGCAS

The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of PSGCAS is a pioneering initiative among Arts and Science institutions, inspired by leading entrepreneurship ecosystems such as those in premier institutes like IITs. The E-Cell aims to build a strong entrepreneurial culture by encouraging students to pursue startups, innovation, and venture creation as a career path.

The cell is driven by passionate undergraduate and postgraduate students, including hackathon participants, ideation competitors, startup grant recipients, and student founders actively involved in building and managing startups. Through hackathons, innovation challenges, startup grants, and mentorship programs, E-Cell provides students with the resources, exposure, and support needed to transform ideas into ventures.

Beyond campus, the E-Cell also promotes social and community entrepreneurship by supporting external startups from underprivileged backgrounds, offering mentorship, funding guidance, and assistance in accessing government subsidy-based loans.

Operating under the guidance of Mr. Vijayakumar S, IIC Innovation Coordinator & Incubation Manager, CII&E, the E-Cell works towards making PSGCAS a vibrant hub for innovation, startups, and entrepreneurial leadership.

The E-Cell of PSGCAS is not just a student club — it is a platform that empowers students to innovate, launch startups, and create meaningful economic and social impact.
