About PSG Food Processing Centre
PSG Food Processing Centre (PSG-FPC) is housed within PSG College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore. The centre undertakes activities for the benefit of food and agro-processing industries, entrepreneurs, scientists, research institutions, government bodies, universities and colleges. PSG-FPC is licensed by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
Vision
- To serve as a Nodal Centre for education, training and research in post-harvest technology
- To create entrepreneurs in the food processing sector through business incubation
- To collaborate with academic, research and food industries
- To utilize by-products of food industries for novel product development
