Students will not be permitted for examination after 30 minutes from the commencement of examination. Students shall not leave the hall within half an hour from the commencement of the Comprehensive Examination. Copying inside the hall is strictly prohibited. Anyone found copying will be punished in accordance with the rules mentioned below. Students are expected to maintain strict silence in the Examination Hall.
The following will be the penalties for MalPractices in Comprehensive examinations
Penalty Applies for Sl. No. 1: The candidate indulges in the above will be served with a warning that recurrence will attract severe punishments.
Penalty applies for Sl. No. 2, 3, & 4: The particular examination taken by the candidate stands cancelled and he/she will not be permitted to write rest of the examinations of that semester, including supplementary and additional subjects. However the result of the examinations written prior to that date of malpractice will be published.
Penalty Applies for Sl. No. 5 & 6 : The particular examination taken by the candidate and the examinations taken prior to the date of malpractice stand cancelled and he/she will not be permitted to write the rest of the examinations, if any, in that semester, including supplementary / additional subjects of examinations.
Penalty applies for Sl.No. 7-14 : The particular examination taken by the candidate & the examinations taken prior to the date of malpractice stand cancelled and he / she will not be permitted to write the rest of the examinations, if any, in that semester. Also he/she will be debarred from writing the next semester examinations that follow, including supplementary / additional subject of examinations. Though the above penalties are stipulated for various malpractice cases, it is left to the discretion of the Examination Committee to affirm, reduce and enhance the penalty depending upon the nature of malpractice.
